Food Bloggers Sessions, Firs Farm School, Grand Salad
Today I tasted something from the Forty Hall Kitchen which has not been tasted for over 300 years. The name of this dish was Grand Salad.
The dish looked like… a island with palm trees/BIG/a royal persons food/it was yummy/an art drawing/a grand king/a large castle/a tropical king/it was from 1641/a tower/oranges and chicken/chopped up fruit/.
It was very…yummy/smelly/delicious/good/ plain…and the texture was…slippery/smooth/soft/bizy
I thought it would taste… nice/more sour/quite tangy/bitter/good ...But after I tasted it, it reminded me of… hot school dinners/egg salad/a long time ago/French food.
I was surprised that… I liked it/it looked like a tower/ it had egg.
Compared to my favourite modern dish it was… grand/not better than my noodles
I think the reason it is not eaten widely today is… nobody knows how to cook it/because people don’t eat that goodness
I would like to make this again for my friends or family because… it’s delicious/I would follow the instructions/I would like to eat it with my family
I would not like to make this again for my friends or family because… it is too big/they might not like it
