Food Blogger Session, Class 2, Sack Posset - St Andrews CE Primary School
Today I tasted something from the Forty Hall Kitchen which has not been tasted for over 300 years. The name of this dish was Sack Posset.
The dish looked like … soup/salad
It was very… creamy/sweet, and the texture was… cold/creemy.
I thought it would taste… disgusting, but after I tasted it it reminded me of… rice & chicken soup/yogurt.
I was surprised that… it was really nice/it was creemy.
I liked that… there was a lot of flavours/it was new.
Compared to my favourite modern dish it was… pretty better/in the middle.
I think the reason it is not eaten widely today is… it is very rare/because its not eaten anymore.
I would like to make this again for my friends or family because… its good to eat.
I would not like to make this again for my friends or family because… its old.
Thanks to Alex A & others.
